The List of Economic Operators is a publicly available register maintained by the Office for Public Procurement of the Slovak Republic (ÚVO).
Entities or persons who are interested in taking part in the public procurements either within the Slovak Electronic Contracting System (EKS) or within the framework of procurements announced in another way shall be enrolled in this List.
When requesting for enrolment in the List of Economic Operators (LEO), entities or persons being registered shall demonstrate they meet the conditions of participation in public procurements stipulated by Act No. 343/2015 Coll. The enrolled entity or person is then considered a qualified supplier for a period of 3 years from the date of enrolment. During this period, the entity or person enrolled in the List is not obliged to repeatedly submit up-to-date confirmations from the relevant authorities, i.e. confirmations from the Social Insurance Agency, health insurance companies, the locally competent tax authority, the competent registry court, and the like.
Enrolment in the List of Economic Operators (LEO) can be prolonged where the enrolled entity or person not sooner than 60 days and not later than 30 days before the expiry of the enrolment validity has filed a new request.
The entity or person enrolled in the List shall be obliged to inform the Office for Public Procurement of the Slovak Republic in writing within 30 days of a change in data which is indicated in the request for enrolment, e.g. the change of the business name, registered office or persons acting as a statutory body, and establish the change by a demonstrating document.
Our law firm can help clients not only with the Enrolment in the List of Economic Operators (LEO), but also with the prolongation and change of the registered data.
Our law firm provides services related to the enrolment of entities and persons in the List of Economic Operators (LEO) for a lump sum fee in the amount of 190.00 EUR, exclusive of VAT.
This fee includes legal consultations as well as all administrative charges and acts to be carried out in relation to the enrolment.
However, in some cases, a client may be requested to provide our law firm with his assistance, especially if the client or either of his statutory representatives is established outside the Slovak Republic, in which case the client may be required to obtain, for example, an extract from the judicial record and other confirmations from the relevant foreign authorities.
